👍 位於新竹金城一路上的將軍村，是過去的將領眷村金城新村舊眷舍改造而成，過去在這個村落裡住的都是高階將領，所以這裡每一棟房屋大多為磚造和木屋結構的獨立房舍⋯⋯
據說當時金城新村總共有89戶這樣的宿舍，可惜已經大多背拆除改建成現代化的軍宅，而現在也只剩下幾戶還保存的比較完整⋯⋯

👍👍 ✍️週末外面好適合帶小小孩在旁邊玩水，也有地溜滑梯可以玩，現場也會有工作人員指示，保障安全。
✍️館內小小的，如果晃晃大概五到十分鐘就可參觀完畢，但好好聽解說可以有更完整的介紹，工作人員也很用心～
✍️相關水道取水以前的裝置與器具都保留的相當完善，很適合週末帶小孩來放風～

😐 位置在西大路旁邊的石坊路 ，靠近大遠百 新竹城隍廟中間有來城隍廟可以順道一遊拍張紀念照， 保存得很好的一個貞節牌坊 ， 旁邊的住戶與騎過的摩托車感覺很接地氣。

😠 What a disappointment. There is nothing but a plate that reminds of the South Gate. Additionally, the surroundings look particularly ugly. Where the South Gate was supposed to be is now a motor helmet shop.
