👍👍 A beautiful vast beach. The perfect place for fossil hunters like me, as fossil seashells and fossil bones are commonly found.
The seashells are from the Eemian stage of the Pleistocene, so 120'000 years old. The bones come mostly from mammals like the mammoth, the woolly rhino, the cave lion, etc....

Stopped here while looking for some nature on the way to Rotterdam. Was perfect.
There's a nice loop walk, including a section that suggests wellies.
Highland cows and horses roam the site.

👍👍 Schitterend natuurgebied met heel veel watervogels en riet. Wel laarzen aantrekken, want het pad is gras en blubber. De verhoogde banken zijn geweldig om over het riet heen te kijken. Prima parkeerplek en route is gemarkeerd. Roodborsttapuiten gezien.
