The seashells are from the Eemian stage of the Pleistocene, so 120'000 years old. The bones come mostly from mammals like the mammoth, the woolly rhino, the cave lion, etc....

👍👍 Mooi wandelen. Ik was er in augustus en zag toen prachtige bloeiende heide. Ook een uitkijkpost kom je tegen waar je de vogels op t water kan bekijken. Je dien wel 2 euro te betalen.

👍👍 Prachtig natuurgebied vlakbij Den Haag. Er is ook een leuke route om te lopen. Honden zijn niet toegestaan op de meeste plekken en je hebt een pas nodig om het gebied in te gaan.
