San Carlos Vista Point
Tourist attraction
👍👍 One of the most beautiful viewpoints I have seen so far. The area is very well structured and very clean. The bathrooms are very clean as well. An extra incentive of this place is that a scene from one of the Zorro movies was filmed right here. Can you guess which one by the following pictures an...

Cerro Tetakawi
Hiking area
👍👍 Steep, but quick hike with amazing views. Start early morning to avoid heat. Gloves recommended. Stay left on the trails at the beginning until the trail becomes obvious. After the ropes, don't get discouraged, keep going 2 more minutes for amazing views of the ocean and San Carlos. Be prepared to s...

Caracol Beach
Tourist attraction
👍👍 Not an easy walk to especially after a day of swimming and fun. Parking is limited but definitely worth it. The beach is small and on the edge of the marina boat exit so there is noise. You can enjoy corals on the edge and walk along the shore all the way to the open sea.

Delfinario Sonora
Aquarium
👍👍 Beautiful time spent with my family visiting Delfinario. Most of the group speaks spanish and only I dont. However, it was interactive and still informative. I wish there was english translation as it is a tour spot and many spoke English their. I would still give it a 5 star as it is about the expe...

Playa Blanca
Hotel
🫤 Unfortunately we found this place to be well over priced. Both days we were there the restaurants and bar were closed and there was not staff help for one of the days. We had to go grocery shopping and load up on all of our own stuff.
Generally this would not be a big deal - However, if you are adve...

Estero "El soldado"
Hiking area
👍👍 Beautiful mangrove estuary, tons of birds, rays and fish in the cristal clear water! We just stopped to check it out after seeing the sign on the road, but they just happened to be having a guided one hour kayak tour, $180 pesos, singles and tandems available.

Miramar Beach Bahia de Bacochibampo
Public beach
👍 Got stung by a sting ray in November 2020 so, be on the look out. Nice sandy local beach, the shade, table and chairs runs about 250 pesos for the day, but at 6pm they take down everything.

Canyon Nacapule
Tourist attraction
👍👍 Beautiful hike. Open on Christmas day. I think it would be much safer and nicer if it were better marked and there was a map but I'll give it 5 stars anyway. Camping, grills, restroom available. Zip line was closed.

👍 Went two days in a row on a Wed. & Thurs. around 10:00 am. 6 people on entire beach. Nice thing about this beach is it is all sand. All other beaches so far are rocky/pebbly. So no reef shoes needed.

Playa Los Algodones
Beach
👍 This beach has nicer, white sand. Gets busy but plenty of space. 30 pesos entrance fee for parking. Unbeknownst to us using one of their shades/tables/chairs, the rental is 250 pesos. We went on a very windy day, but the water was refreshing and we enjoyed our short trip there!

San Francisco Beach, San Carlos MX.
Beach
👍👍 Outstanding beach situated between Bahia Dolphin on the Sea of Cortez and a magnificent estuary. Wildlife abounds. Pods of dolphins regularly cruise the shore and sea birds of all descriptions change with the seasons. A true gem.

Playa De Piedras
Beach
👍👍 Best beach in San Carlos!!! Crystal clear water. Calm wave. Clean shore. Just be sure to bring a good pair of shoes like others say because there are lots of stone. I also got sting by sea urchin.
