If you go to the left (clockwise) when approaching from the carpark, it's an easy flat walk for 1 km to the dam.
If you go right (anti clockwise) it's undulating and approx 2 km to the dam.
Either way, it's lovely, but if you're after an easier walk, go clockwise...
