👍👍 Small local cafe that, to foreigners at least, serves toasted sandwiches. Simple fare, but absolutely delicious. We had toast and egg and toast and ham, which were sandwiches made fresh (Japanese style omelette egg) with mayonnaise. It's getting 5 stars because the owner was so lovely and welcoming...

👍👍 Stayed here one night before the Kumano Kodo. Mayumi-san was incredibly kind and welcoming, I slept like a baby here! And her chiffon cake was incredible, so I can recommend her food too! The black sesame one was my favourite, but the plain was delicious too!

👍👍 We swing by this cafe but it was more than we expected. Food and drinks were good and we could get useful information for Kumano Kodo from the lovely cafe owner. I recommend you should go here especially when you start your journey in this area.
