👍👍 A local recommended this restaurant to us and it did not disappoint! Tuna fish tasted smooth and fresh and they have the traditional rice wrapped in leaf. The meal was filling and satisfying. This meal costed 1500 yen. However, there's limited seating but quick service.

(sadly I will never be able to eat tuna again back in switzerland🤣) the chef was super friendly and also understood some english and even knew some german!!! it didnt have an english menu but he was helpfull and we ate tuna sushi and his recommendation....

👍 A long-established izakaya located about a 5-minute walk from Kii-Katsuura Station. I visited on a weekday night, but it was almost full, mainly for local regulars.
Not only sashimi, but also Kumano beef steak and fried oysters were very delicious! It is a shop that I want to visit again.
