Fukuoka Masjid Al Nour Islamic Culture Center
Mosque
👍👍 The biggest mosque in Fukuoka City. When I was in there every Friday, I met lots of moslems were also praying. Because of the limited size and also Covid 19 pandemic situation, they performed Friday prayer twice (around 12 pm and 1pm).
It is located in Hakozaki ward, near Hakozaki station. If you g...

Life-Size RX-93ff 𝛎 Gundam Statue
Tourist attraction
👍👍 Been a long time coming but I finally got to see it. And I highly recommend it. In addition to the statue there is a small merchanise venue, where I don’t think any of the merch was unique to that spot, as inside the Lalaport is the Side-F Gundam base.
Also comparing this to the Unicorn statue outs...

Little Stand Daimyo store
Coffee shop
👍👍 One of the best cuppa I've had in Fukuoka. We arrived late the first time and ordered a Bari Chai which was delightful! Flavoured cream was yummy and very well paired with the Chai.
Back on the second day to try the flat white and I was again completely satisfied. First sip was too hot honestly but...

Our Lady of Victory Cathedral
Catholic cathedral
👍👍 A serenely quiet sacred place to "come and rest" in the silence of the heart, to encounter the Lord in a most special way. This Roman Catholic church is very conducive for quieting, centering, silent heart-felt prayer. One comes out of the church rested and with drooping inner spirit lifted up.

👍👍 Sometimes you stumble into what, in Spanish, is known as a “rincón”, a nook or cranny, but which I would describe in English as a hidden gem. Cómo Es Imaizumi is just such a place.
