👍 昔は伝通院の敷地が広かったので、境内の一部だったのが、紆余曲折あって今は塀の外。明治の頃に善光寺坂が生活道路として整備され、大正の頃には樹の両側に車道がある構図になり、戦後は車道の一部が歩道になって今に至ります。樹齢は４００年。2013年に文京区指定の天然記念物になりました。
