👍👍 Visiting Belgium from Australia, we went to Hasselt for the Christmas markets. Came across Quetzal cafe. Actually, we went in to get out of the rain.
We asked for “just a hot chocolate” the guy said “we are not just hot chocolate, we ARE hot chocolate.
He was so right. We had the BEST hot chocolate....

👍👍 If you need that chocolate fix this is a splendid place to be. The chocolate lava cake is a must have to try it but beware of the bowl they serve it right out from the oven so it is hot, super hot like the cake itself hahaha…and of course they serve their brownies with every of their hot beverages....

👍👍 Very delicious waffles. They are made with oat flour so not your typical Belgian waffle but I 100% recommend it. They also have a beautiful area outside overlooking the canal. I will be going back to taste the other waffles.
