👍👍 We were in Bacalar for a week over New Year 2020-2021. We like to explore outside of the major stops so we ventured into the small town of Juan Sarabia. We found this restaurant right on the Rio Hondo liking over into Belize! One of the best parts of our entire trip!

Beautiful. Man running the place not the friendliest. It’s 30 pesos per person just to walk around, but really pretty. 150 pesos for a double kayak for one hour. Water is incredibly clear and there are some chickens and turkeys. Toilet on site also.
