Biglietteria La Spezia
Ferry service
😐 The whole 'hop on hop off' thing isn't quite as simple as it sounds. Despite there being a printed timetable up at the ticket offices, it was almost impossible to know where the boat was going to stop. On the way out, our boat completely missed off Porto Venere and went straight on to Riomaggiore. O...

Riomaggiore Beach
Beach
👍👍 The beach is a brisk walk from the town centre. It is a bit difficult to get into the water from the beach, as the rocks are very slippery and it is easy to fall. We decided to swim on the bigger rocks as you enter the beach, as it was much better to get in and out of the deeper water.

National Archaeological Museum and Archaeological Area of Luni

Tourist attraction
😐 It is a quite original 100-years old statue just at the very western end of Monterosso (Fegina beach). The statue was built in 1910 and made of concrete reinforced with iron. It is about 14 meters tall and represents Neptune. It was bombed during WWII along with the villa behind it. Now, it is in an...
