👍👍 nice place for nature, hiking, be careful of the entrance is not clear for drivers, very narrow and confusing due to a bus stop inclined inside the entrance. just drive in and inside there is a decent parking spot free of charge.

👍👍 Today, I took my 3-year-old child to visit the Universiteitsarchief KU Leuven . The most interesting thing was that we climbed the tower together. The process of climbing the tower was very meaningful. It took 40 minutes in the library and the ticket was 7 euros. The conductor is very patient.

👍👍 Very interesting ruin. The history and reconstruction are explained on boards at the foot of the tower. From the top you have a beautiful view of the surrounding regions. A table with a bench is available for a short break

👍 A nice park for toddlers and young children to unwind and play with loads of wooden toys. Not much to do for teeners except for looking at the impressively large airport radars nearby. There are some cycling paths to discover the surroundings.

🫤 What is supposed to be a hidden / romantic / peaceful park is actually rather dirty and poorly kept.
The water of the pond is filthy and littered with trash, the plants around it suffer or die. The grass isn’t homogenous with too many bald / muddy spots.
